http://www.scooterdomain.com/Gas_Scooters_50cc_150cc_s/2.htm

These scooters sold on line are not working out to wheel I do not know about what he is selling but those prices are super cheap. Should there be problem there no shop to take it to and on the phone is not as good. You would be better off looking at Kymco or Hyosung and Genuine. They are quality scooters and are not any of the imported junk. Have things like 2 yr. warranty’s dealer that are there when you have problem. They are priced below Honda and the like. Kmyco is the largest scooter maker in the world.

From large industries to the average homeowner, gasoline powered small engines are widely used to complete major and minor tasks all over the world. Lawn mowers, air compressors and pumps are among the most the popular equipment that utilizes this machinery. They also power ATVs, motorcycles, scooters and certain light aircraft. For household mechanics, knowing the basics of a gasoline powered engine can help better maintain your equipment and help you trouble shoot potential issues that may arise.

What is a Gasoline Powered Small Engine?

These systems are also known as an internal combustion engine. To run these engines, a spark created when the ignition is switched on creates an explosion as it comes into contact with the gasoline in the combustion chamber. Gasoline is a slow burning combustible liquid that becomes explosive when it mixes with air. This explosion is what gives the engine its power. There are a number of parts within these engines that make this entire process work efficiently.

Small Engine Components

1. Fuel System

The fuel system is made up of several other components. The fuel tank stores the gasoline until it enters the carburetor. A fuel pump removes the gasoline through a fuel line into the carburetor. The carburetor then mixes the required volume of air and gas in proper proportion to create the necessary energy. Inside the carburetor, a small filter collects small particles of dirt and sediment that may clog or dirty the fuel.

A primer is used to inject a small amount of extra gasoline into the carburetor to create a higher fuel intensity and stronger spark. This is usually used when weather conditions are cold or the small engine vehicle has been sitting for a long period of time.

2. The Ignition System

Combustion cannot take place if the spark needed to create the condition is not ignited. The ignition produces a high voltage spark that sets off the combustion needed to start the engine. A battery is used to activate this and a spark plug provides the catalyst in which current can flow.

3. The Cylinder Block

Combustion takes place in the cylinder block. Within the combustion chamber, the heat released by the chemical reaction creates a high-pressured gas environment. As this pressure force is pushed to the pistons of the engine, it causes the crankshaft to rotate.

4. The Cooling System

Because of the large amount of pressure and fuel reactions, gasoline small engines produce a large amount of heat. To keep them running efficiently, a cooling system must be in place. These engines are usually cooled using metal fins that push cool air across the system. Bearings are also used to bring down the amount of friction on the engine, thus reducing the amount of heat generated when it is running. Additionally, regular maintenance that includes oiling and cleaning filters will keep the engine heat down and the machine’s efficiency up.

There is a lot more that can be learned about the inner workings of a gasoline-powered small engine. However, the basic mechanics of these machines can be broken down to some basic fundamentals in vehicle engine construction. What everyone should remember about small engines is this: Take the time to understand the basic workings of your lawn mower, golf cart, motorcycle, snow mobile or other small engine vehicle so that you can better maintain and prevent breakdowns in the future.

There is a strange phenomenon that occurs whenever individuals drive around the streets on kids electric scooters. It can make an adult feel like a teenager again, but can make a kid feel like an adult. Either way, they are lots of fun. If you are thinking about purchasing an electric motor scooter there is a useful tactic that can allow you to save a sizable amount of cash off the normal selling price. It might take a week or two or more to locate the lowest price, but with a bit of patience it’s possible to reduce your costs dramatically.

Taking a couple of weeks to unearth the best price may give the appearance of requiring much effort, but the majority of the time is spent waiting, not working. It should only consume two or three hours of actual effort before uncovering prices that are lower than you might have imagined possible. When you have unearthed the lowest online price you will be happy you put in the extra time and effort.

The best way to save cash is to do price comparisons with an added twist. Comparing selling prices is not a brand new tactic, it has been done for generations. However, by doing them the proper way it’s possible to save a good deal of cash. In the ancient times you had no alternative than to call sales people on the telephone or drive from store to store to check out product costs. But in the era of the internet, shopping is a great deal less problematic and less time consuming. By spending a little bit of time on the internet you will swiftly uncover the lowest prices for the scooter that you have always wanted.

Your initial task is to go online and do a Google search for the brand of scooter you’re searching for. In the beginning you will typically start with all-purpose search terms like electric motor scooter, Gas Powered Scooters, or others. This will certainly give you loads of top web sellers.

As you go and see the top websites you will soon get a very good idea of how much the leading types and models are going for. Eventually, when you reduce your list of satisfactory scooters, you can then do a more exact search utilizing particular types and models. Visit 10 sites or more that carry the models you are considering and make notes of the cost of every one. Make sure to add in any other fees like shipping in your records because a few websites will offer the scooter less expensively, but affix extra shipping fees or other charges to your purchase. You will most likely need to do a “fake buy” at each store to get their final price, but be sure not to buy anything yet.

When you have the final price from around 10 different online sites you will then repeat the same exact thing on Yahoo.Com and again on the Google Products search engine. A fourth place to check out is eBay. Pay a visit to all of these websites and make note of the final cost at each of these websites. It will most often require a few hours to do this investigation.

Now for the most difficult part; you must wait a week or two and then once again the whole procedure. Waiting a week or two will many times make it possible for you to uncover special sales. You might not stumble on any big sales going on the first time you check, but if you look at costs over a longer period of time you can sometimes come across larger price reductions from special sales that will save you a great deal of cash. If you buy a scooter the very first day you may end up shelling out lots more cash than is necessary.

Hello im 14 and i was just wondering if im allowed to ride my 43cc gas scooter on public roads and streets and roads without getting in trouble? If not is there any i can make it so i can? im in pennsylvania

Please don’t do this. Do you have any idea how annoying it is for everybody around you when you go buzzing through our neighborhoods with one of those incredibly LOUD pieces of crap? Every time I hear one, I want to kill the kid riding it.

When gas prices were high around the $3.00 mark a lot of people were considering buying scooters to transport themselves to and from work or just to get around town. I know, to date gas prices have gone down significantly, but a lot of people are still worried that gas prices will go back up. Listening to the new, the Saudis’ are everything that they can to stabilize the prices and make them go back up. So, it may be a good idea to explore the purchase of the gas scooter if just for peace of mind if and when gas prices go back up.

In terms of the best choices when buying an gas scooter, well I have three choices for you. All are very reliable and are made by very respectable dealers.

My first choice would be a Honda scooter. Now, how can you go wrong with a Honda? From cars to motorcycle Honda has worked hard to put out a great product that last. As for scooters Honda has a full line of scooters that range from 49cc scooters to their top of the line 586cc scooters. The cheaper of the scooters will put you back $2000 or more dollars and the most expensive $8900 dollars. But I am sure you will be able to find a used Honda scooter with low cc’s for much cheaper prices if these are out of your price range.

My second choice would be a Bajaj scooter. These scooters are lightweight with chassis that are easy to handle. Thinking about going green? Bajaj scooters produce very low emissions as a very high speed output of a minimum speed of 55 mph depending on the model that you purchase. On the low end these scooters will put you back in the price range of $1600 dollars and on the high end you could spend as much as $7000 dollars.

My last choice would be a Yamaha scooter. Don’t take this as being the worse out of my three picks. Yamaha scooters are on the same line as Honda. Very reliable the will keep you on the road for years to come. Their new veno model which cost around $2000 dollars gets an estimated 110 mpg. Great gas mileage. This is a 49cc liquid air cooled 4 stroke scooter that looks a lot like the vespa scooters seen on most foreign films from Europe. If you want more power and want to blow out your budget then you can go top of the line with the Yamaha Majesty scooter. This scooter cost around $6100 dollars and gets 51 mpg. Not as many mpg as the veno but it has a lot more power.

Any of these are great scooters for the money and you will not make a bad choice with any one of them.
