or save for a car??? How little is the scooter??? Gas motor scooter for $600 it got everything like a car but how little is it???
Im just going to the community college and home…its only ten minutes away from home…im not going out of town with it..

If you are talking about one of the cheap Chinese made 50cc scooters available on the Internet I would NOT have it if it only cost $100. You would be better off buying a good pair of walking shoes as that is what you would soon be doing.

A used Honda/Yamaha/Suzuki of at least 80cc — yeah, I would get one. But then, I would rather ride in the rain or blistering sun than sit locked in a cage. A scooter has everything a car has except protection from the weather and collisions. If you don’t mind getting hot/cold/wet/hurt the scooter is better. If getting hot/cold/wet/hurt would bother you, save up for a car.

There is a strange phenomenon that occurs whenever individuals drive around the streets on kids electric scooters. It can make an adult feel like a teenager again, but can make a kid feel like an adult. Either way, they are lots of fun. If you are thinking about purchasing an electric motor scooter there is a useful tactic that can allow you to save a sizable amount of cash off the normal selling price. It might take a week or two or more to locate the lowest price, but with a bit of patience it’s possible to reduce your costs dramatically.

Taking a couple of weeks to unearth the best price may give the appearance of requiring much effort, but the majority of the time is spent waiting, not working. It should only consume two or three hours of actual effort before uncovering prices that are lower than you might have imagined possible. When you have unearthed the lowest online price you will be happy you put in the extra time and effort.

The best way to save cash is to do price comparisons with an added twist. Comparing selling prices is not a brand new tactic, it has been done for generations. However, by doing them the proper way it’s possible to save a good deal of cash. In the ancient times you had no alternative than to call sales people on the telephone or drive from store to store to check out product costs. But in the era of the internet, shopping is a great deal less problematic and less time consuming. By spending a little bit of time on the internet you will swiftly uncover the lowest prices for the scooter that you have always wanted.

Your initial task is to go online and do a Google search for the brand of scooter you’re searching for. In the beginning you will typically start with all-purpose search terms like electric motor scooter, Gas Powered Scooters, or others. This will certainly give you loads of top web sellers.

As you go and see the top websites you will soon get a very good idea of how much the leading types and models are going for. Eventually, when you reduce your list of satisfactory scooters, you can then do a more exact search utilizing particular types and models. Visit 10 sites or more that carry the models you are considering and make notes of the cost of every one. Make sure to add in any other fees like shipping in your records because a few websites will offer the scooter less expensively, but affix extra shipping fees or other charges to your purchase. You will most likely need to do a “fake buy” at each store to get their final price, but be sure not to buy anything yet.

When you have the final price from around 10 different online sites you will then repeat the same exact thing on Yahoo.Com and again on the Google Products search engine. A fourth place to check out is eBay. Pay a visit to all of these websites and make note of the final cost at each of these websites. It will most often require a few hours to do this investigation.

Now for the most difficult part; you must wait a week or two and then once again the whole procedure. Waiting a week or two will many times make it possible for you to uncover special sales. You might not stumble on any big sales going on the first time you check, but if you look at costs over a longer period of time you can sometimes come across larger price reductions from special sales that will save you a great deal of cash. If you buy a scooter the very first day you may end up shelling out lots more cash than is necessary.

I am 14, live in metro-Atlanta and am looking to buy a gas motorized scooter with 49cc or below. Also is there a difference in laws with the sit down moped like ones and the standup gas ones? I have found laws for nearly every state except GA. Thanks for anyone who can help!

best ive found laws by state

i my venom motor scooter takes oil gas for some reason my dad doesnt like to listen and he put just gas in it my engine started smoking on the way home one day and i had to walk home. And now the throttle is stuck im not sure how but i would love it if some one could please explain to me how to fix it. please help i need it to work..

If the scooter was laid on the ground on the throttle side, the assembly may be touching the end of the handle bar disallowing it to rotate.Simply loosen the throttle assembly and slightly slide it in the direction of the end of the handle bar and re-tighten.See if it works now.
Check for pinched throttle cable also.
Because Dad only put gas in and not premix you may have ruined the piston because of partial seizure and that could be why it will not accelerate.

i am looking to buy a gas/motorized scooter, can anyone help me on my decision on which brand?

Get a Honda, they’re not too sexy but they’re indestructible, unlike the Vespas, which are sexy as hell but very finicky, and avoid all those cheap Chinese-made scooters they sell alongside the road and at gas stations, they’ll fall apart in about a year, and parts and service are impossible to find for them… go with a brand-name to get good service and reliability.

I have a 1986 Honda Elite 250 that runs like brand-new. With regular routine maintenance, they’re just bullet-proof!

Oh, and don’t bother with anything under at least 80ccs minimum, they’re WAY under-powered, and you might as well just get a bicycle. ;-)
